Bulk Submission for Teachers

If you are a teacher who would like to submit a large number of student poems at once, please use these instructions for a bulk submission:

— Download the Excel file at the bottom of this page by clicking on the button image with the piece of paper and the arrow. (When you hover over the button, it says "Download.")

— You will use this Excel file to help you capture the submission information for each poet. Enter each poet’s information in its own row of the Excel spreadsheet. You can copy and paste any info that is the same for every poet, such as school name, school address, and teacher contact information.

— Save this Excel file with the new file name “YOUR NAME SCHOOL NAME info.XLSX”

— Compile all student poems into one PDF. Ensure that the poem title on the PDF exactly matches the poem title in the Excel spreadsheet. Ensure that the poems do not include any identifying information such as poet name, school name, or email address.

— Save this PDF file as “YOUR NAME SCHOOL NAME poems.PDF”

— Submit by sending an email to poetry@ilhumanities.org with the .XLSX file and the PDF file of the poems attached. The subject line should read “Bulk Poetry Submissions YOUR NAME SCHOOL NAME”
